Monarchs Bounce Back

According to Monarch Watch, the Monarch population in Mexico increased 3.5 times its previous years level.

Certainly the rain and floods that we got in the Midwest helped all the wildflowers and milkweed.

I would still encourage everyone to plants as many milkweed plants as you can find. I have seen them in St. Louis as early as April and if you have milkweed in your yard, there’s a chance they will stop and lay their eggs.
