Buckeyes Laying Eggs on Veronica

If you’ve got Veronica which has gone to seed, don’t be afraid to cut it down to the ground. Here’s a video of a Buckeye laying eggs on Veronica which has been cut back. I’ve seen this also with Pipevines and Monarchs. they all seem to prefer new growth just coming out.
