Transplanting Milkweed Tip

I usually plant about 100 tropical milkweed plants in my garden each year and the easiest way to start them is in a tray that I cover and provide bottom heat. When I go to transplant them, I’ve had mixed success with just digging them up and moving them to a new container. Some wither and die.

My solution which seems to work 99% of the time is to put a cover over the newly transplanted plants. They really appreciate the extra moisture and humidity and do much better.
